Anyway, motherhood has been really tough but extremely rewarding... now. Lots of ups and downs, including a couple of ambulance rides, hospital stays, etc, etc, all the normal scary things, like rites of passage, that parents have to go through. And I don't care if I sound corny, but yes, it was all worth it! Zach is an amazing little dude, who surprises me every day, revealing yet another little trick, making me all proud and mushy inside.
So, here we are, Zach almost walking (took his first two steps last night!), mummy yet to resume work (on maternity leave indefinitely), daddy working from home most of the time, so he can give Z his 7pm bath and spend quality time together (I know, I am very lucky!) and newly formed friendships in the neighbourhood, with fellow mummies, made all the difference [or I would have gone insane].
